It is designed to detect a variety of common engine faults which includes: Worn piston rings, worn valves, cracks in cylinder walls and blown head gaskets.
It is suitable for use with any petrol vehicle that has 14 or 18mm spark plugs.
Cylinder leak-down tester gives you valuable information about the engine’s compression. Pressurized air is supplied to each cylinder, and the rate of leakage is measured in percentage loss from 0% to 100%.
The cylinder leakage gauge makes it easy to conduct leak-down tests that are more accurate than standard compression tests.
